WJT Series Cooling Towers Structure

Natural draught jet type cooling tower works on water jet principal. In this system the required amount of water to be cooled is sprayed from top of the cooling tower through special jet nozzles. When water comes out of nozzles, it forces the air column in the downward direction of the cooling tower resulting in the low pressure zone inside of the cooling tower. Due to this process atmospheric air comes inside the cooling tower for the required heat transfer of the hot water to be cooled.

Spares and Components of WJT Series Cooling Towers:

Jet Nozzles

Specially designed high-performance jet nozzles ensure uniform water distribution and proper air induction. These are made from durable plastic or corrosion-resistant materials for long life.

PVC Fills

High-quality PVC fills provide maximum heat transfer by increasing the contact surface area between air and water. These are modular, easy to replace, and resistant to scaling and fouling.

Drift Eliminators

FRP or PVC drift eliminators minimize water loss by capturing droplets carried with airflow. They help in improving efficiency and reducing water wastage.

Inlet Louvers / Mesh

Plastic or FRP inlet mesh prevents dust, leaves, and other contaminants from entering the cooling tower, ensuring clean operation and reducing clogging.

FRP Casing Panels

Corrosion-resistant FRP panels are used for structural strength and long life. These can be replaced individually in case of damage.

Water Distribution Pipes

Non-corrosive PVC/FRP piping is used for distributing water to the jet nozzles efficiently. These pipes are designed for low pressure drop and durability.

Fasteners & Clamps

Galvanized or stainless-steel fasteners, clamps, and supports are used for securing internal components and ensuring structural integrity.

Make-up Valve / Float Valve

Used to maintain water level automatically in the cooling tower basin by regulating make-up water supply.

Collection Basin / Sump

FRP basin collects cooled water and ensures leak-proof storage before recirculation.

Support Structure Components

Galvanized steel supports, brackets, and frames ensure stability and proper alignment of all tower components.
